The passing of Her Majesty the Queen

As Chairman of Crofton Parish Council, I wish to state that it is with great sadness that yesterday we learned of the death of our Queen.

Protocol dictates that as a mark of respect we may not hold our parish meetings until after the funeral of the monarch.

The Queens funeral is most likely to be on Monday 19th of September therefore I am suspending our meeting on Tuesday 13th of September until 7:00pm 20th of September unless those arrangements change.

May she rest in peace
