Events
There are also a number of regular events held in the library. Dates of meetings are included in the library article in the Crofton Beacon, and the relevant month’s events are republished below:
Local Councillor’s surgeries are held on the first Wednesday of every month 4pm to 5pm, when you can discuss anything with one of our local councillors.
Down Memory Lane (Crofton remembered where people can look into the history of Crofton and share their knowledge/memories of the village) is held on the second Tuesday of every month from 1pm to 2.30pm. There are a number of old documents in the Library that people can look at any time when the Library is open.
February 2020 events:
Local Councillor’s surgeries – Wednesday 5 February 2020, 4pm to 5pm
Down Memory Lane (Crofton Remembered) – Tuesday 11 February 2020, 1pm to 2.30pm
When the library is open not only can you borrow or buy surplus books, everyone is welcome to come in for a drink, refreshments or just a natter. Why not join June’s Wednesday morning group when many people call in.
