Crofton Village


Crofton is located three miles to the south-east of Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Close to the M1, A1 and M62 motorways, it is 25-minute drive to Leeds, 30-minute drive to Sheffield, 60-minute drive to Manchester and 60-minute drive to Hull.
Crofton is served by four grocery stores (Sainsburys Local and Premier Crofton Express on the High Street, Spar at Ashdene Avenue and Premier Food & Wine on Santingley Lane) three pubs (Royal Oak and Goose & Cowslip/Lord of the Manor on the High Street and Cock & Crown on the Doncaster Road (two former pubs, The Crofton Arms and Windmill Inn have been converted into Indian restaurants whilst former pub The Slipper has been converted into flats)) a working men’s club and three post offices (located inside Premier Crofton Express and Premier Food & Wine on the High Street, and SHELL Redbeck services on the Doncaster Road) as well as Redbeck Motel, Mambo Café and a range of takeaways serving Italian, Chinese and Indian cuisine and fish & chips.
